I don't know about Kragthorpe. We will see how the first few games go. I did not like his play calling last year at all. He had no control over his players and no discipline at all. I think things will change, I have heard that English is a disciplinarian. Time will tell.

Ryan, coach Cassity was horrible. The guy couldn't coach his way out of a dark room. He's been fired more times than any body on earth. Also that Stubbs, Offensive Co is gone as well, he wasn't any better than Cassity maybe worse. English is a headknocker and will take control of the players on the defensive side of the ball. I like Jeff Brohm and he has mentored under Howard and Petrino therefore play calling will improve. Petrino was no doubt a lieing snake in the grass but you have to give it to him and his brother they were a denfensive co worst nightmare. We've lost alot but sometimes heart can go along way, and this team seems to be rallying under adversity. Oh yea JCB before you run your mouth about law enforcment and UofL check the headlines hoss UoK ain't doing a whole lot better, lol.

You know Tim I have to admit I gave Kragthorpe down the road last year, but after watching and studying this guy some I think I was wrong. I didn't realise there was so many punk thugs on that team. Petrino did a heck of a job hiding that mess. At least Kragthorpe will either win or loose with quality kids and I'm all for that. Hunter Cantwell is gonna be the bomb this year, mark my words that kid has heart big time.

I am not sold on Kragthorpe, but am playing the wait and see game for now. I do have a hard time believing that many of these same kids are thugs now, but we didn't see it under Petrino. I still contend that a few were, but some just were so scared of Petrino they wouldn't dare mes up. Who knows for sure, and it is all water under the bridge at this point.

What I did like seeing at practice yesterday was Ron English in somebody's rear every play and the way he stresses getting to the football. As far as Cassitty, I felt like he was a scape goat based, on what his defenses had accomplished under the previous regime. It seemed like the scheme was different last season than what he had been running before Krags.

I think that Jeff Brohm as the new OC will make a big difference because he is going to try and run the ball to set up the pass and also to keep an inexperienced defense off the field.

All in all I was excited about what I saw yesterday.

JCB.....if I was in law enforcement I would not have arrested Pulley, because I would rather him play half baked as the starter for the kayuts.

The only reason UofL pulled out the Rutgers game last year was Brohm started calling the plays the last quarter.

I agree with what you all said about Cassity. He was a jerk too. Our defense was the weak link even when Petrino was there.

If Coach K does not win 8 games I will help him pack. I will even let him use my truck for the weekend so he can get out of town faster.

Sports Illustrated has The Cards at 66th place. The Cats at 77th I think.
