We went fising today on Nolin for the first time since the Fishin.com tournament and WOW!We just gave up and rode the lake until about 8 pm when the lake went still. If we wouldn't have been burnt out we would have stayed till dark and maybe had a chance a catching some fish. This is the first summer that I have been down on the weekend that it was JAM PACKED with pleasure boaters. I have nothing against them (have been one myself years ago)
but I would have never thought that with the gas prices that that many people could afford to burn the whole oil field on Nolin Lake. I can tell you this....I will make sure that we go at 4am from now on. I can't believe that no one has been hurt with all the tubes and "floaters" in the middle of the lake.
