    Those "poor" boater that were not smart enough to check their fuel before embarking on a day on the lake. You should of never had to ask for 30 bucks for gas. The boater should have offered to pay you 50 bucks for your time and gas you had to WASTE for their stupidity. If they would of had cell phone reception andcould of called a towing compamy, they would been more than pleased to pay you 30 bucks or from the sound of their thinking maybe not. They should of been happy that you offered your assistance. You did the right thing by leaving and they showed you their appreciation by signaling that you were #1 ..good move.

    That tow to the state dock would have been about 3 miles, I towed some fishermen from trooper island to lillydale camp ground ramp, they offerd to pay me, said no, maybe I'll need help some day.
