If you are speaking of the lake, i have always had the best luck fishing main lake walls opposite the side of the river channel. Guys usually use a texas rigged plastic worm doing the night fishing for the bass, but i have always used a 3/8 ounce light brown and black hair jig with a chartreuse plastic pig trailer. This has worked for me in the summer for smallmouth and kentucks. I have not had the chance to do this fishing this year yet though...but that is always what has worked for me during summer nights. We usually throw right where the water meets the bank and jig slowly down (almost more like dragging) into the water until the jig gets to about 20 feet of water. Most nights will hold lots of fish around main lake points and walls... Hope this helps.
