    Rage Broadheads...2 Blade

Any of you guys shoot this particular broadhead? Would like to know your thoughts on it... Been watching alot of hunting shows here lately and noticed quite a few of them were using the RAGE broadheads. From what I've seen on these hunting shows, the RAGE broadheads make massive entrance and exit holes. I wanna shoot the best and these look hard to beat...

i got some for christmas and am excited to get one in a deer.. ive also seen how big some of the entrance holes have been watching on tv, its impressive. the practice broadhead has been shooting good and ill probably try one of the actual broadheads before too long, but ive never been this pumped about any other broadhead before.

I currently have Crimson Talons (HyperSpeed) broadheads on. I've only had them for a season and although I have yet to shoot a deer with them I still think I'm gonna make the switch to Rage broadheads. The say the Rage flies like a fieldtip and I'm just not nor have I ever been sold on a fixed blade broadhead. I've always used expandable broadheads of some sort and have yet to have a problem.

I have the 2 blade rage and have not stuck one in a deer yet (one miss), but I have been shooting the crimson talons for 2 years now and have killed 3 deer with them, they get a good pass thru and fly well for a fixed blade, I keep both in my quiver while hunting. I don't think you could go wrong either way, good luck

I am not convinced they are the end all broadhead versus a fixed blade such as a G5, etc. just yet. However, with that being said I think they are the best mechanical on the market that I have seen. They have performed as advertised for me with huge entry and exit holes and appear to take minimal kinetic energy to open. So far I have been satisfied and I think if you plan to shoot a mechanical head this fall, the Rage is what I would recommend. Good luck!

I've pretty much always used a mechanical broadhead and have never really had a problem out of them, but for some odd reason I just up and changed to a fixed one last year. Have yet to shoot at a deer with them yet(crimson talon- hyperspeed) so I can't say what they will do for sure. Just watching hunting videos on the outdoor station has gotten me very intrigued about the rages. The size of holes they make and how they fly seem to make them a very reliable broadhead, so I think I'm gonna make the switch.

I use fixed blades. I was told by the old timers, not to add anything that has more moving parts. Thats just more things to go wrong. Muzzy for me.....Plus if you hit them in the lungs what does bit matter.

Im with you ttwig, I cant get myself to shoot anything but Muzzys 4 blade. I had a bad mishap with mechanicals when i first started bow hunting 14 years ago and i know technology has improved but i still cant break myself to switch. Muzzys all the way

I have been shooting muzzy's for 11 years, 1st year for Rage, have been shooting the practice tip and 1 real deal. they shoot just like field points. the only problem I see are the O-rings. After say 10 shots you will have to replace them. But in real hunting situation, a broadhead probably will not last that long anyway. Some people say, they open up when you shoot them, have not had that problem at all. also, they say you can't stalk with them, I can see where that would be a problem. I think if you shoot feathers fixed broadheads are good. This year I'm shooting blazers with a DXT, played with the fixed a little. They seem to veer off. possibly because my new bow is a good bit faster than my switchback.

they are great, leave massive holes, only downside is you better shoot a good bow with no hand shock or the broadheads rattle in your quiver like a tambourine when you shoot. the blades come out of the o ring and are loose and rattle.

I have to agree with you guys ,fixed is the only way to go. If you take some time and set up your arrows right then you will be good. If Expandable Broadheads are so great why is it illegal to hunt Alaska big game with them? You can not hunt Africa’s Dangerous Game either. You have to hunt all with fixed Broadheads. I personally think the G5 Montec is the best out there. I have taken 2 Alaska bull moose, 3Black Bears, 1 Alaska Brown Bear, 1 Doll Sheep, 5 Whitetail deer, all were taken with a 100 gr G5 with an Easton 3-39 ACC arrow. I shoot in Vegas, NFAA indoor national, and many other big target shoots. People say that Expandable fly like flied point well I have slit three arrows with G5. I not trying to say Im the best out there by no means, just saying I have a lot of experience hunting and with shooting, This is just my personal opinion. Good Luck with which ever one you choose to hunt with.

well i got my first deer with one. clean kill dropped her in 30 yards, broadhead went thru both lungs and left a massive hole. The best thing about it was that because there was only 2 blades it never even touched a rib which was part luck but also good design. i know some of you guys are sold on fixed blades but hey this things the real deal.
