wats a good way to catch perch in a pond

A beetle spin works great in ponds. On a trip to WV I fished a old farm pond to see if there was anything in it, to my surprise I caught so many fish it was unbeliveible. I noticed that perch really liked beetle spins. These lures are fairly cheap and work great.

I like beetle spins as well, but a bobber, hook and part of a worm works too.
