    Douglas levels

Our local club Classic will be the last weekend in October. Location is determined by majority vote. My partner and I are leaning toward Douglas but we all understand that water levels there will be extremely low that time of year. Could anyone please offer any info on projected water levels and available ramps for then. We normally fish there in April and September and use the Dandridge ramp. Any help would be appreciated. Just a note. We are a small club with no m ore than 13-15 boats and practice 100% catch and release. Thanks.

    Re: Douglas levels

lake level is around 965(10/10/08) about 25 ft down.normal pool is around 990.i am from eastern ky and our club will be fishing our classic out of the dandridge ramp the first weekend of november.water levels should be ok to launch from dandridge.also dont ask for a fishing report from the locals on this lake.they are tight lipped and if they do post what the fish are being caught on dont believe it.i have never fished douglas in the fall but if it like the spring of the year it could be great.
