One thing to clear up for a previous post on this thread. After the Towers fell one plane was allowed to leave the US, it was a plane carrying Bin Ladens family, that was the only plane in the air that day. So who are the terroists,Bin Ladens family is Saudi and were allowed to leave, that was Pres Bush's call. Also I was on a plane the two days before 9/11 coming from Calgary to Chicigo, on that plane were 5 middle easteren men who were sitting as follows 2 in first class, one was in the first row the other in the last row between 1st and 2Nd class, I was in 1st class. the other 3 were as follows, one next to door in the asile seat right past the door between 1st and 2nd, one in the middle on an asile seat next to the escape door and the last in the very last asile seat in the rear. I did not relize what was going on but after they showed on the news how the ones who did the deed were set up it made me wonder, did I just miss being a victim or was this a test run. We landed and returned home 09/10/2001. Also they held up all flights out of Ohare and dead headed most out of the airport the night before we left. Did they know something then. Makes me wonder.

That was a tough time for me Bobby. I swore to myself that if anything happened during the flight I'd be killed attacking rather than ride the plane down under their thumb. Sounds dramatic maybe, but if you were traveling back then it was something to think about. I still fly quite a bit, and still have that mindset to this day. I take note of every middle easterner I see on the plane.

Col, you insist on defending a culture who oppresses women cruelly as a matter of course, teaches hate and death from childhood on, believes that to kill others in the name of your god gets you a free ticket to heaven with 40 virgins waiting for you. (Now I'd settle for 20 experienced hookers, but that's just me)

What koolaid you been drinking brother? This is not isolated portions of the culture in the middle east, it's the majority. When some of our people get blown up, all those thousands of people I see on the news screen celebrating and burning US flags are just a few isolated Muslims? Countries supporting and producing animals who've been slaughtering innocent people since before you were born is just a few bad ones? For crying out loud, comparing Muslims to McVey is one of the silliest comments I've ever heard. And you had the nerve to call my comments absurd...good grief.

I don't want this country to become like Israel or Beirut where cars exploding outside cafes are commonplace. Who's doing the bombing? Why the few isolated small minority of your buddies, that's who. It danged sure ain't the Mcveys of the world.

Muslims (Only small isolated numbers of them of course) have terrorized the entire civilized world since I can remember, and you want to embrace them right into our country.

Your tolerance is admirable Col, mine less so. So happens I got stuck in another country when 9/11 happened. Air travel to the U.S. was suspended and nobody could get in for a while. I sat next to a table of middle easterners laughing about the attack the night after it happened. Almost went to jail in a foreign country over that one, 'cept for this Australian guy who helped me out. BTW, It you're out there somewhere, thanks again Mate, I owe you big time. It is nice to know one the great satan's cornerstones is tolerance.

I do agree the post was way over the top. My sincere apologies to Andrew and JCB, my comments were uncalled for. In fact as I read it, the whole tone is way too inflamatory. I'll try and tone it down heretofore.

Before any of you decide in your mind that I'm some sorta of racist come to my place of work and ask any of the fellows that work under me. I've hired Blacks, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexicans, Guatamalians, Cubans, Polish, Iranians, had a couple from Pakistan, and the list actually goes on. I had 4 Iranians working on our night shift and upon request gave them permission to practice their religious ceremony on their rugs each night at a certain time. This is when they said it was imparitive for them to do so, therefore I not only allowed it I made a special break time for them to do it. These same 4 individuals could speak fluid English however after about 3 or 4 months they began to speak only in Iranian language amongst each other and was making my night shift supervisor uneasy. During the Clinton term when the basement parking lot was bombed at the World Trade Centers, they were extremely ramped up one night. My night supervisor called me at home at the brink of tears, whom by the way IS NOT in any way a racist bigot said they were gathered and laughing and wouldn't do as he was directing them to do. He asked them again to please speak English so that he could understand what was going on. After he had insisted this and agravated two of them they proceeded to tell him how the bombing the day before was a good thing and that America deserved it and we were only getting exactly what we deserved. I told him to fire their monkey asses on the spot and I would get fired from my at that time 18 year job to defend him for what he did. He did fire them and I was proud of him for doing so. I say all that to say this. I am not a racist and right now my shop is absolutely full of minorities and they are treated with the same dignity and respect that everyone else is. In fact it's the young white American male that I can't seem to hire anymore, because they don't apply for one thing, and the other is 90% of them are so lazy they need help to tie their own shoes. It's this liberal anything goes bull crap that this liberal society that pedals that have made them that way to. No accountability for their actions in the schools, all this individualism crap, and nobody can tell you what to do junk. When I went to school and we got out of line the teacher took us in the hall and warmed our rear end with a 2x6 that had holes drilled in it. If I went home and told my Mom or Dad what the mean ole teacher did to me, the first thing out of their mouth was, did you deserve it, and if so I might have got another rear busting. We were expected to have respect for people in authority, such as teachers, adults, policeman, men of the cloth and so on. NO I'm not a racist but when I watch my fellow Americans, my brothers and sisters, the ones I'm loyal to get blown up just because they don't like the way we look or act, that gives me the dang right to see Muslims in any light I choose. I choose not to trust them and if that offend some of you I really don't give a crap. I'm done and my your lines be tight this weekend.
