Hate to say it boys, but once these asian carp get started, they are hard to reduce. I'm originally from Illinois and live right near the Illinois River and these things are bad. ESPN came down a few years ago and filmed a segment on them. Every year we have a "redneck" fishing tournament to where boats go out of Bath, IL for a few hours and as many asian carp as you can come back with in your boat from the carp jumping in them decalres you the winner. I talked to a buddy who worked for the DNR and he said they are overtaking the amount of biomass in the river. There is some of a market for them in Asia, but here they are junk fish.
