Cumberland this week

fished 2 days on cumberland this week. water temps 85-86 range. generally clear with the occassional mudline from boat traffic. fished midlake both days. boated 3 both days - 1 keeper each day (smallie and then spot). fish are not eager to bite - several swimbait tails bit off and lost lots of jig trailers to short strikers. good to be back on the water but typical summer bite for me on cland (SLOW). keepers all caught on football jigs. min boat traffic both days.

Minimum boat traffic sounds GREAT! I think that's typically the norm down there Monday thru Friday.

summers have been slower than normal for last 2 years but prev during the week could have quite a bit of traffic depending on lake location.
