Yep, Since the people in charge of getting a new Top dog to run the new Post Education Office did not meet Beshear's criteria. He changed Fletcher's Bill and now has the final say on who gets the job....Does anyone see a Democrat getting the job now for sure or a close friend of the Governors. Heard the words come right out of the Governors mouth on the radio this evening.....
The guy the Board selected didn't satisfy the Governor, so he made them hire another Selection Company to pick the candidates.. Thus not being able to hire the guy who volunteered to do the job on an interim basis. until a new person was hired....But the first board decided that the best man for the job was the guy who was doing the job as interim. Not to Beshears liking, so he got Jack Conway involved and now has gotten his way again....... Total crap in my opinion about the whole deal.....

Cry me a river Mills.
Just another example of elected officials paying back their buddies for what ever favor they may owe them. If a committee selects someone else than that is who should have been chosen. I don't think Gov. Beshear sat in on all the meetings and could make his decision based on what each selection had to say.
Not to mention hiring another selection committee, more waisted tax payer money.
