Don I agree with Shawn, flouro and mono won't absorb these coatings, but they do just that, coat and it makes them slick. I use the KVD line and lure conditioner and while I don't use it all the time it will make your line more limp and have less memory it's a good product. Try it and watch your line peel off your spinning reels and baitcasters better. There are timesat Cumberland when I'm targeting fish in the jumps that are spooky so I stay way back and make real long casts. That stuff will get you another 10 to 15 yards sometimes.

    Mark,
I'll try it, it should make a decent pitch easier as well.

Do you guys put it on your reel parts as well, or just the line? And does it help with braid? I've never used it, but I keep reading good things about it.

I don't use braid therefore I have no clue what that would do. Yes it will help lubricate reels as well and is not a silicone base. Don it would aid in your pitches I'm sure of it.
