Never said that I could keep you off the boards...just that I could ban your sign on names..which has been done.

For the record: Moose1am was banned because of slamming and name calling...twice banned temporarily. I thought that maybe a temporary ban would get your attention and you would take the hint and learn to try to put your points of view across without name calling and slamming everytime someone disagreed with you...obviously you can't raise yourself to that level.

For the record: I have a college education, so your statement about me joining the Marines because I couldn't get into college doesn't hold water. I received my college education while I served my country...instead of hiding out in college when my country needed me.

For the record: I never said anything in my post about what I did in the military. Your insinuations about my being a Supply Clerk to try to belittle me only speaks to your lack of knowledge of military oganization. There have been thousands of administrative and logistics personnel that have lost their lives in the military defending this country and your freedoms...your insinuations that anyone in these military occupation specialties are less than real soldiers only reflects your lack of respect for anyone that has worn the uniform of military services of this country.

For the record so that you can get it right next time: The majority of my time in the service was Infantry. Since I am in the Retired Reserve like all retirees I am not really out of the service...just home awaiting recall...my military occupation specialty is Infantry Operations SGT (11B50). I know that must confuse you...since you obviously are ignorant of anything in the military world. Make a date and place to meet me and I will explain to you in person what I did in the military.

I don't need any more medals..I have enough thank you.

He didn't get his commission because his daddy was not an Admiral in the Navy and he could not use his daddy to get into the Academy. While McCain was playing around in the POW camp Moose1am was busying getting studying to become a Vet. Meanwhile Moose1am's Cousin's husband was in Montgomery Alabama looking for GW Bush. He said he never saw him down there when Bush claimed he was there. Bush lied and people died.

Jane Fonda was right after all. We never should have gone to Vietnam. It was a senseless war and it only produced a lot of pot heads and screwed up soldier who returned to the States with lots of mental problems.

1. Since you are Moose1am you tell them the folks why you were banned. You really can't fool me with signing in under another handle...if you had access to the areas I have as a Super Moderator you would know that.

2. I have never said anything about who I am leaning toward supporting for this election...don't put words in my mouth. Actually, so far I have not made up my mind who I am gonna vote for president.

3. I responded to your Questions for McCain because that post is degrading to the man's record in service to his country. Since I am a military retiree of 26 years service I take personal offense at anyone that attempts to degrade anyone's service record that has served honorably. You should be ashamed of yourself for doing so.

4. While you were in Vet school, I was wearing the uniform of a U.S. Marine, my oldest brother was wearing the uniform of the Army Special Forces (Green Beret), my next older brother was wearing the uniform of the U.S. Air Force and was in special ops (Blackbirds), my younger brother was wearing a Navy uniform and was in a nuke submarine. My oldest brother died of Agent Orange poisoning after 22 years of honorable service while you were attending college learning how to degrade people's service to their country. He put his life on the line for you and paid the ulitimate sacrifice so you could go to college. My next older brother has had two heart attacks and a stroke all attributed to Agent Orange poisoning...just so you could come on this site and demean a man's service record. For your own personal information..none of my brothers and neither am I a pothead or are we screwed up mentally. Between the four of us brothers, we had a total of 78 years honorable service to our country. Your comments about John McCain's honorable service record and your comments about us Nam Vets makes me want to puke. You just bought yourself a ban for life as far as I am concerned. If you don't like it, take it up with the owner of the site.

I suggest you find a site with a forum that supports Hanoi Jane and all the other extreme leftest Commie's that cost more lives in Nam than anything the U.S. govt did.

NOW, take that you liberal weiner. Dave thank you and your brothers for all you did for me and mine. You my friend and your family have a history to be completely proud of. Your story made me sad but also inspired the heck out of me also. Thank God in Heaven that we have families like the Stewart's. Jane Fonda was a no count piece of trash and I WOULDN'T PEE ON HER TO PUT A FIRE OUT. Ban him for life Dave you have the entire support of this entire site and ALL of it's members.

Most generations of my family has been in the service including myself and I know it means alot to you after reading your family's service history. I never like to hear or read anyone throwing disparageing remarks toward someone who served be it war time or peace.

I did 4 years in the Army but my dad did the 30 years tour in the Navy and was a Master Chief. To this day he is proud of what he gave and I am as well.

Thanks guys. It was not my intention here to brag about anything. My brothers and myself did our duty as millions of others have done before and since then. It was my intention to expose this person for what he is...probably why he has been banned from other sites as well.

During the season I don't get as much time to review all the posts on this site as a moderator....we moderators all have other jobs. I am normally on the water 7 days a week during the season so I can only devote an hour or less here most days. I do appreciate and I know Peter does appreciate you guys trying not to get to personal when discussing politics here. Most fishing sites have banned political discussions because of the problems that seem to always arise from them...Peter made the decision to allow the political discussions on this forum so please guys, try not to get too personal.

DJD: Just for you....in all my years in the military, one of the two biggest chewing outs I received was from a Master Chief aboard and LST when I was a young jarhead....never have forgotten it...and he had every right to put me in my place...lol.

I am going to lock this thread now...probably should have deleted it but I think I will leave it up so that anyone coming here can see just what type person this is.

For those that may be confused about my mentioning being a Marine and now having an Army MOS....I served in the Marines 12 years and in the Army 14 years.
