Fishing with Dave Stewart

I know other people have said it before, but I would like to add my name to the list of satisfied customers of Dave Stewarts guide service. Last Friday, a buddy of mine and me went on his ledge fishing/teaching and water elimination trips. In this trip we learned invaluable info on finding fish (more importantly shad), eliminating water, picking good ledges, and reading maps. Dave also showed us how to properly fish a Carolina rig and how to use this as a searching/fish catching bait. We were up against some tough conditions with blue bird skies and a cold front but still caught fish.
The next day we headed out on our own to try some of the stuff Dave taught us. Unfortunately we had some trolling motor problems and only got to fish for a few hours. In those few hours we had, we were able to boat at least 10 quality fish with our new knowledge. If anyone is considering taking a trip with him don't hesitate, it was well worth it.

Thanks for the kind words. I thoroughly enjoyed the day with you guys and am looking forward to seeing you again sometime in the future. Sorry to hear you had trolling motor problems...hope you got the problem fixed. Glad to hear you caught some fish out there on the ledges before the trolling motor quit on you....always glad to hear that my clients are putting our hard work on the teaching trips to good use.

I agree Dave is the man It is nice he shares his info on this board and his fishing report you can take to the bank! I had hoped to go with him again this year but I can not get it worked out.
