Well, I can finally leave the bank and the wet shorts behind and fish from my own boat (a little 16' bass tracker type boat). Problem is, I was planning on going up Harrods Creek after some bronze fish as that is where I normally fish when Im not at the falls, but some trees have fallen just upstream from the Marina by Hwy42 in Prospect so I can't get up to where I know I can catch some smallies.

Baisically Im starting from scratch here. Id like to target small mouth but in all honestly I'd be just as happy with a dirty ole drum to break in the boat. I can put in just about anywhere in Louisville area from Cox's to Greenwood. I'm pretty familiar with the River from down town to Westport from skiing and playing but Ive never fished it. I'd love to put in at Greenwood but, I dont want to get my self in any trouble.

Besides where to put in where should I concentrate on fishing?I plan on putting in at dawn. Ive heard smaller is better on the river which goes against what I typically do but hey, its not my water. If I were to put in at Cox's where should I go and what should I throw? What about at Greenwood? If I stay away from the dam (thats going to be hard but Im not known for being brave) are there still good places to fish?

Thanks in advance!
