I am fishing at a little known hole on the Kenai River where boats launch and tend to get a bit close to the bank fishermen. I am talking to 2 guys, when a boat comes a bit close and I say..." On the Ohio River we would throw rocks if a boat came that close." To which the guys say.. oh really we fish the Ohio River too... and of course I ask where they are from and they say Louisville.
Out by Iriqouis Park...
So we have a good ole time talking about fishing and catching pink salmon on every cast, and an occasional silver salmon..
Nice meeting those fellas, and I did ask their names and I promptly forgot them when I caught and landed a nice 10 pound silver myself and stepped into a hole and got wet up to my shrinkage.
