    Heading into fall....

After reading all the replies to the "End of Summer" post. I was curious to know what lakes and patterns evryone was gearing up for as we enter into fall. Me, I would like to hit Herrington a few times with a jig and crank, leading into a trip to Barkley the first weekend in November. I'll watch for post and reports to put a plan for Barkley together.

I am looking forward to three days in the Smokies in October fishing for brown trout, a possible trip for stripers with my son in Septemer on the Cumberland, and a weekend at cave Run for conference that will also involve msukie fishing and a day sitting with my bow in a treestand in the DBNF.

If I can have a fall like I did this spring I will be a very happy man again. Small or large bass didnt matter, I was landing several a trip. Even tournament time I was able to catch the limit without much difficulty. Cedar Creek and Herrington with my favorite plastics and maybe if I have the $$ a trip to Cland.

I'm looking forward to a couple days at lake tahoe hanging out. then some top water fishing at lake camanche cali. and some frog, rattle trap, and swimbait action at the cal-delta. the first week of september.

would also love to spend a couple days at clearlake but don't know if we can work it in.

no not yet. I usally only bass fish. but it sounds interesting. the guy that i visit out there has talked about before.

he said that it also gets very crowed. sometime elbow to elbow with people trowing across everybody's line so it sounds like more trouble than its worth.
