It depends on the lake color. I have switched to 100% fluorocarbon on worm and jig rods. But if the lake has a lot of color I will use clear blue so I can see the line better. If the lake was clear I would use low vis green.

I know this is an old debate but I wanted to get a view opinions. I've used mostly clear lines (and some low vis green) over the years. Which works best for you guys on lakes like T-Ville, Rough, Nolin, Barren or does it even really make a difference?

As far as monos go its all lo vis green for me. I really only use mono on my reaction baits and topwater tho. They probably make better quality clear monos now.. but if you ever look at an older bass fishing book youll notice that the clear monos they use always glow neon blue so that kinda turned me off to it.
I use Excel clear 14#, 17#, 20# lost too many fish on Flouro to use it anymore.
Why do you think you loose so many fish on Flouro?
