    CNN special last night?

Did any of you watch this show? It was the two candidates revealed telling their entire life story. John McCain has lived a colorful life and was very interseting. Made a few mistakes along the way but hey have'nt we all. But his pedigree certainly is that in line with a United States President in my opinion. He has done about everything and even his enemies were struggling to put out something negative without a positive spin on it. WELL now Barry..........Uh sounded like the kid down the street you use to ride the bus with. Hasn't really done anything outstanding, never been in any kind of harms way. Biggest hardship of life was having multiple Dads one which wouldn't do right by him. Mom was a little on the let's just say loose side and like the richer meat of the chicken. Has brothers and sisters he's still learning about. Alright that wasn't a smear campaign but only a overview of what I took from the program. Now let's see I have two choices which one do I want for my President now?????? One that was beaten and tortured for over five years, even though he was given a chance to come home and refused because others in front of him had waited longer. Has consistently reached across both party lines to try and make this a better country. Has countless military accolades to pool from. Or a guy who played high school basketball, hung out on a Hawai beach with a surfboard smoking weed. Who eventually got straightened out and his only real achievement was he studied alot and is obviously a very intelligent individual. Oh I'm so confused, NOT.

    Re: CNN special last night?

They made it very clear last night that Barry was tagged as a Senator who cannot commit to an issue. His vote of present instead of committing either way bothered some people. He was labeled as a "rock star" by some of his friends and that bothers me as well. We don't need a rock star we need a leader, not a man who befriended Mr. J.W. and the slum lord and the countless other men who are shady as best.
He is exactly what I figured him as. A political pawn that has been molded by Democrats and seedy friends to become their answer for to the question... (what will it take for Dem party to have the Presidency)? He is being used by that party since he is half black and that alone made them water at the mouth because they knew a huge amount of blacks would vote for him based on his skin color.
His accomplishments well....speaches that bring the house down, thats all. Unless you would count befriending terrorist, slum lords, muslims, J.W. and such let him hang his hat on that!
Some of his political moves in the Senate made me shake my head in disappointment, he abandoned bipartison bills with McCain at the last minute (flipflopper) because he gets a better political deal for the future. Yep, thats right he found a better special interest that would help his political career instead of committing to his word. He is no good for this country ....

Thumbs down Re: CNN special last night?

Man you guys got me so confused I just can't decide who to vote for. Well now at least its down to two choices . Hopefully they both pick a decent VP just in case. from the posts I have read on here there stands to be some really upset individuals when and if "Barry" becomes the President of this United States. I can't relate to anyone who has so many homes and so much money he can't keep track and I really can't relate to a black dude who made 4 million last year either. I would like to ask them how much they paid for their water bill last month or what a gallon of 2% milk costs. I honestly feel of the two Obama's memory on being a "common person" would provide the closest answer. When push comes to shove do either one of them have any real power to make any major decisions on their own?

Is etc. John McCain? You have a very valid point but none of the politicians are doing there jobs just going thru the motions and collecting the dough time for an uprising.......

I know we all throw funny posts and jabs at the candidates but taking your thought and running with it about who to vote for.....If these guys are basically running for an office that is just a piece of the Politcal controlling power of this country then at that point (if thats all they are) vote based on their view of family values and Christian beliefs. Google McCain and see what his family has done worldwide for kids. Look at the sacrifice that generations of his family has made by committing to military service in this country.

Google Barry and see what he has done? I don't know does anyone? Appartently, he has a brother if Africa that he refuses to help. Barry makes millions a year...can't he help a brother out?
