    Nolin Help Please

Taking a 10 boy fishing Sunday afternoon. It will be his first time in a boat. We have fished farm ponds together but never the lake. Any help in locating some bluegills or crappie this time of year would be appreciated

    Re: Nolin Help Please

I don't fish for Bluegill or crappie, but I have heard many other people talk about catching them in Bartons Run. Another good places a friend talks about is the humps and flats to the left of the little Island with the Flag on it in at the moutn of Rock Creek (not right next to the Island but more in the bay area to the left of the Island aas you are looking into Rock Creek.

Hope this helps and works for you..

    Wizard,
I usually fish outta the State Park and head to Brier creek. I seem to catch lotsa nice bluegill deep on the points out near the mouth.

    Good luck.
