Fished Inter-Lake in Lynnville today in jon boat - caught 6-7 ten inch bass on Pworms . Oh well . Nice pit anyway - will diffently be back . Stopped at Bluegrass on the way back to Eville and banked fished till a guy and his 2 kids showed up and started fish the ramp with snoppy rods and the kids were throwing rocks in the water , grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr , plus this heat ***** so we didnt want to stay long . Caught one 12" bass on the Pworm on the drop - noticed a ball of shad just under the surface about 20-30 feet out roaming around . Cast the old worm out and ran it under the school Bam! 12" bass . Caught 1 more like that . A good pattern for sure . If you motor around the lake looking for schools of shad and dropped a lure under them I bet you could clean up . The shad seemed to be moving around slowly - probably feeding on alge at the top of the lake . Ive caught some nice bass down at Barkley running a Rattle Trap thru & under such pods of shad . Anyway , like I said it gets so dang hot by noon that Im sticking to fishing in the early morning & evening or maybe even night fishing . Anybody else doing any good ?
