Re: Hydrogen for fuel increases MPG

A coworker has done the same thing on his F-150. he has been saying around the same thing that the bassman30 was saying. My coworker has also said that a friend of his has rigged this on a carberated model Sentra. Has it rigged to shut of his fuel pump completely after the car has been running. I think the price for the kit is pretty cheap. The web site is: www.waterforfuel.com

A lot of these sites want to sell you a book on how to do it. BEWARE as some are fraudulent!

KABOOM??? Blair is correct on the storage/usage of the HHO. There is little risk and the only problem I heard of was a guy who didn't wire it up correctly to shut off with his engine. It continued to generate HHO and when he started his engine, it blew up his motor. Hence, wiring it correctly and having another bypass to shut it off at will. Mounting location is also another catch unique feature to every installation that would give a manufacturer some trouble.

As I said, the liability and volatility are probably the key reasons why private and auto industry hasn't embraced it.

yes I watched who killed the electric car, and it got me really p owed. That car was an urban God send. With the battery that GM bought, and held the patents till an oil company bought them, shows the colusion between big business and the government. But the real kicker was the maintenance, almost none.It will be back some day.

From what I have read, you add 20% alcohol to the mix in cold conditions.

I would not add anything to the mix. Your engine and the electrode in the canisters are going to generate some heat to warm this up, but this where I'd want to shut it down....remember the bypass shutoff. If you have a long trip, then you can start it up when everything get warmed up and melted.

Regardless, no reaction= no HHO = more regular gas usage.

I'm sure they've got some cool ideas in this area.

My only question is it takes energy to make energy,in order to make enough electricity to power a decent size generator..... where does it come from? Just curious

your battery... You are really only making a controlled short in a container ot distilled water and baking soda mix.. So while you are using power from your battery it is gettin recharged so really your not using no more energy.. While i still don't know how the effects are on your alternator's life span but for now everything is fine

In my opinion, it takes fuel and a reaction to produce energy. In this case, fuel is produced as needed from water. Left over electricity from the car's generator is used in the production. The therory assumes this left over electricity is wasted anyway.
