thank you guys... i think on friday since its homecoming the school is going to do a memorial for him and on sat is visitation and on sunday is the funeral.... this is going to be a tough one on our community because of the small town i come from everyone knows everyone and everyone knew david.... its going to be a sad day in williamsburg...

My prayers are sent...I still wear the boots and walk in them offically. Someday I may receive the call to return to that area. I know the feelings the emotions that are felt at these times.

We are from a small town of 1,600 people and had a young man pay the ultimate price for our freedom. It was very touching to see all the people line the streets or go to the service in the school gym. We had bike riders show up with hundreds of flags. Our Lt Gov was here he has made every funeral of an IL soldier. It was a sad day for the town but a very proud day also. My prayers go out to this hero, his family and friends.
