Anyone have any reports on Nolin? Going this weekend. Haven't been there since early summer, but am guessing the water is way too clear for me. This lake is tough for me even in ideal conditions.

Me and a friend caught fish this past weekend on a 10 inch worm (Exodus rotton cabbage)up in the river. A few small ones but most were keepers.

If it were me I would head up the river same as the above post. Try the long sloping points at the ends of bluffs and the pockets and bays near deep water. Anywhere you can find stumps around 15 ft should hold fish. With the lack of rain upriver should hold some more active fish with the more fresh water and current coming in.
Went today, water temperature was about 86, water is beautiful, as clear as i have ever saw it. We fished from about 6:30am to noon, caught about 5 fish with 1 keeper about 2-1/2lbs. All on shakey heads, all on vertical structure. Hope this helps.
wishiniwasfishing: What do you mean by VERTICAL STRUCTURE?
Thanks,
Grumpy
