Prayers need for Jackson Family

I dont know if anyone knew Todd, but he was one of my closest friends and he was killed last Saturday in a boating accident at Lake Cumberland. William Todd "TJ" Jackson was one heck of a guy. He was loved by many and will always be remembered for his smile, he never met a stranger and never had an enemy. He was the kind of man that would literally take his shirt off and give it to you if you were cold and needed it. Didnt matter when or how, if you needed something, he was always there for you whether you asked for help or not. He was an avid boater, loved Cumberland and kept his boat there for the past few years. He was the guy that would be the designated boater and take everyone home or back to their campsite if they needed help. TJ mistook Beaver Creek for Cemetary Island and hit the bank and flipped. His pasenger was ejected and has a broken arm, but otherwise will be fine, TJ wasnt as lucky. Please say a prayer for TJ and his family and friends, we all need them very badly right now. TJ was a young 44, but God has bigger plans for him. TJ, I love and will always miss you, you stood by me when my mother passed away, for hours just standing there with your hand on my shoulder. I will never forget you for that.... I love you and will miss you, may you rest in peace and we will see each other again.. GOD BLESS YOU

Every one of my fellow fisherman, boaters, please be careful when your on the water and God be with everyone on this board, I know many have things going on that are life threatening, my heart and prayers go out to you.

Jeff: I feel your pain....lost my best friend not much more than a month ago. TJ sounds in character like he could have been my friend's twin brother. Not a day has gone by since my friend was called home that I have not missed him...I still catch myself reaching for the phone to call him. The only thing you can do is be thankful you were blessed to have known such a person and even more blessed to have been able to call him friend.

Second Jeff's caution for everyone to be very careful on the water chasing this sport we all love....our lakes and rivers are a gift of bounty from God......but they can be cold and unforgiving to those that let their guard down.

Prayers are sent. 2nd that on being carefull. It is easy to get turned around on any body of water and the lakes water levels are always changing Please Please be carfull.

A few years back I lost my best friend, the guy that always wanted to be my Dad, but he was my uncle, my hero, & my best friend. He had a massive heart attack on Christmas Eve night. I still, to this day, break down when I think about him. It is tough losing someone that is near & dear to your heart. Remember all the good times & cherrish the memories.

prayers and well wishes from here. I know alot of people take pride in how well you know every cove, nook and cranny on a lake, but fishing and boating is always a risk, even during the day. I was down that way on Thursday and heard about this. Be careful out there guys!
