I am headed out in the morning 9/6/08 to go try to get a few. My buddy has been out there a few times scouting. I am just looking to see if anyone has any suggestion on some spots. We will be in a boat. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Wayne

I don't have any pointers, but my in laws live up the road from T-ville Lake, and have always wanted to know how the waterfowl hunting was. I think they have some permanent blinds around the lake? Good luck and please post your trip results.
No luck! We got out on the water around 5:45 and got set up and nothing at all. Seen a couple of wood ducks but no geese. We put in at the state park and went to the right all the way down in the cove. We left around 11 or so with a hungry stomach.... O well we were out there....
Launch from Van Buren and go towards the dam as the the way to the river is a waterfowl refuge. You can blind up between there and Chowning and it can sometimes be okay but in general we have never had any luck there.
