    Question Livewell connector problem

I have a fiberglass livewell and the hose connector at the bottom where the water comes in broke on the outside. My question is How do you remove the plastic connector glued inside the livewell wall? Any suggestions on how to remove to keep current hole size intact? Once removed, what kind of glue or silicone do you suggest using on new plastic connector?
    Thanks,
    Bassky

    Re: Livewell connector problem

I know I could drill and cut on the old fitting to get it out But I'd be most concerned on if I could ever get a new fitting back in.

    So Personally
I'd plug the current hole with a drain plug or a stopper and Then drill a new hole in the back or side that I had accessability to and put in a new drain fitting.

    But that's me.

    Re: Livewell connector problem

Got it fixed. I had to force it out but the sealant that was on it made it a chore. Put the 2 new ones in last nite.
    Thanks,
