Re: Palin on the Charlie Gibson interview

Devils Horse, I dodged you question? Come on, "If you win the lotto the goverment is going to take such and such" It's the lotto, if you were lucky enough to win it and had the audacity to complain about getting $250k minus the $3 ticket it cost, I think most people would find that rather funny. I don't play the lottery so if the $3 ticket price is off feel free to correct my math.

I'm suprised you would feel Clinton fit your critera, sure he went and got a good education but he had a meager southren up bringing and worked for what he got.

Speaking of dodging questions, I didn't see a responce about Bush being the highly educated, good ol' boy, I can relalte to him and how that's panned out.

You talk about people busting their butts to make money and this and that but if someone bust their butt to get a good education you look down on them. Why?

Poverty is a real prolem in this country whether you choose to see it or not. What do you do with/to the children that are born into it and have no say?

Let's not forget the working poor here. They are in a serious bind right now and I know people that have had to swallow their pride and get goverment assistance because they had no other choice. If taking more money out of someones pocket that can afford it (yes can afford it) is what it takes to try and get this situation turned around the I'm fine with it, until you or McCain come up with a better plan.

I don't look down on anyone for getting a good education, that's a ridiculous conclusion, I was merely advocating my brand of change. Sara Palin is not an Ivy League lawyer and neither is McCain. You want real change in Washington, there it is.

I'm very well qualified to comment on the working poor. My folks worked hard in an Alabama cotton mill, and we lived pretty much hand to mouth. They never asked for help from the government or expected it. And they sure as heck taught me taking other people's money was wrong. My first job was running drawing frames in that mill 4 hours after school everyday for $1.90 an hour. I've manged to stay alive and have knock on wood, never taken a cent from the government or felt rich people owed me a dime.

We already have a welfare system that provides financial aid and job training, but is temporary as it should be. Before it was reformed we had people who were second and third generation welfare recipients. The problem with government financial programs is they discourage the incentive to work. You get a job, and you lose your money.

We also already have a slew of programs to aid families with children.

You don't pay attention so hot, I've already given you my economic plan. Cut government spending to the bone, cut taxes to the bone, drastically cut back on government bureaucracy and nonsensical regulations, and let American workers and innovators take over. Simple. And as I've said before, proven to work.

Since I've been so accommodating, take few minutes and outline your wealth redistribution program for us.

I have a son that was "bullied" in high school and hated the school environment. He did want nor was he qualified to attend college.

That being said, he now works two jobs in an attempt to maintain his house payment and all the other bills that working people have to endure.

It really ticks me off to think of the low life welfare suckers that have no incentive to get off their rear ends to better themselves or any attempt to be self sufficient.

I'm truly sorry to hear that your son was bullied to that extent. Bullies either don't reliaze or care that what they are doing can leave such deep emotional scares that can last a lifetime.

Were the bullies ever caught doing that crap and punished? I sure hope so, of course there punishment was nothing compared to what you son went through.

Again I'm truly sorry to hear about something like that happening to what sounds like a good kid.
