Palin on the Charlie Gibson interview

What you said didn't even come remotely close to getting my blood pressure up. I love a little competive banter on the interwebs.

And yes I thought her interview was really that bad. People keep using the excuse well I don't even know what the Bush Doctrine is, well your not going to possibly be the next V.P.

She scares me with her talk about Iran, she had no clue about the troubles of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Reports of her abusing her power while in office. She can see Russia from Alaska, Woohoooo!!!

Also I'm wasn't trying to "to take my ball and go home", I started this post with a little joke about the Palin interview and was tring to get it back on track. I suggested you start a Obama bashing post and I would join in.

Yeah she was caught off guard with a few questions but I really think that once she learns the proper answers she will be as good or better than Barry. It's a shame that it comes down to how you present these canned answers in interviews that can make people feel good about you. The polls really show that most people like her so she is doing ALOT right, can't argue with that. Don't forget she isn't a Washington regular that has hundreds of lifelong political leeches all around her so she isn't as polished...yet!

I like her, she is so much more in line with my point of view on what is right. Her approval rating in Alaska is off the charts and all her elections have been landside wins, that also speaks volumes. You can listen to the Libs trying to beat her down (because they are scared) but I'll believe the thousands of voters in Alaska. Man this family could be the family down the street, they have their issues like we all do and people identify with that.

I never liked Charlie Gibson and now I like him even less. His interview was ok at best and child like at worst. I don't think he displayed much respect to her and his body language was proof of that. He looked like a parent giving his child the facts of life! Like I said before if you were leaning her way before all it did was firm up your beliefs for her.

Time will tell how strong she is as the media tries to tear her down but I maintain that it will backfire. How can they pick on a woman who is a Governor, who has 5 kids, a special needs kid, a great mom with the love of God in her heart? Man they are picking on a giant here since this isn't about politics at this point it's personal.....

I agree with DJD about the " celebrity circus going on" like I have said other times this is a show not an election, we have no real choice for pres and that is sad as this country is in a mess and we have no one to really lead us. Palin does not have the experiance neither does Obama, McCain is too old, so you all seriousally think that if something happens to McCain that Palin can lead us. WRONG. This scares the crap out of me. We will have to wait till Nov to see who the " next american idol" is. And this show will be over. This is the most screwed up election I have ever seen and it comes at the worst time ever. Both the parities have failed us, as politics have won over common sense.

This guy is an idiot. Defend one side and knock on the other for the same thing.

I never though any less of Palin or her Daughter for getting pregnant. Kids make mistakes. This is not near the circus as it would have been if the roles were reversed. The conservative right would have had a field day spewing thier morals, religious and ethical views in our face had it been the daughter of a liberal that was in the same situation. How about when BO's senate opponent criticized him for supporting sex education for elementary schoolers and Obama made fun of him? Newsflash: The lion's share of normal hard working Americans are conservative and believe children are a blessing instead of a punishment. Barack Obama doesn't even understand basic capitalist economics, and he's the candidate for president, not vice president. Besides, Palin handled Charlie Gibson just fine, and she didn't need a teleprompter to do it. I loved it when he tried to act like a journalist, boring in with the same question 3 straight times. She played him like a dime store fiddle. He's lucky she didn't snatch him out of his lightweight loafers and field dress him like a moose.

What exactaly did it bring to the dissusion? Children have no say in what their parents do, say, actions............. and that video was a attack on something Obama had no control over. If anything it should be inspiring to see where Obama came from and where he is now.
