We are in pretty bad shape in my neighborhood, trees down everywhere including my huge oak in the front.Roof is in bad shape too!
No it just went in to the street and blocked my driveway and took out the mail box.Roof damage came from wind. How is everything out your way now?
Wind pulled a few shingles loose on my roof. Our neighborhood is new, so there really aren't any large, old trees.
I just filled my yard garbage can with branches and once the storm is out of here I'll rake up alot of leaves and smaller branches. I have some very large trees in my yard so this is a common result from these storms.
Lexington had trees blown down and a old brick wall blown down on top of cars and trucks. I'm hearing of power being out in parts of Lexington and Louisville. I wish we could have had more rain out of the storm.
When my wife left her shift at Central Baptist Hospital, they had been on generator power for 2 hours...
600,000 folks without power in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Ky area,Schools and Businesses closed everywhere, trees down all over,4 people killed as a direct result of the wind.I took a drive to check on my dad in Kenton county this morning because he is without phone or electric,I saw telephone poles snapped off a few feet off the ground, siding and shingles blown off houses, huge trees down in roads, and to top it off Duke Energy has sent most of their workforce to Texas to assist with damage there, only a few limbs around my place and no power loss here in southern Pendleton county.
