i forgot to mention this in my last post... if you buy humminbird unit and don't want to buy a counterpart for the bow, which would also include an interlink and some more money, buy a ram gimble mount. if mounted properly, you can mount at the console so you can side scan while you are idling, then rotate the unit around so you can use the map to troll to your spots that you marked... the gimble mount is affordable and is worth its weight in gold if you can't afford a unit to mount on the bow.. installation is not hard, it just requires 4 bolts and about 30 minutes
