Obama still plans to generate additional funds from taxes (remember that 5%-10% he will be taxing is where 90% of the money in this country is. Makes sense to me - if I want a beer, I don't go door to door to ask for a drop from each person until I have enough to satisfy my needs - I go to the liquor store where there is a ton of the stuff (I know a crappy analogy - but who doesn't like beer). He also plans to save money by a systematic withdrawal from Iraq (that is the single biggest factor in our extremely weak economy).

Actually, I did not sink my refund into the economy, I did the single worst thing you could do with that money (which is what the majority of americans did) - paid off debts.
Tsk Tsk Tsk it's so sad that people in this country can't see that demanding more money from other americans is not the right thing to do. Doesn't work, if you think it does your buying into a pipe dream. What did they do to deserve that? Prosper? Work hard? Get lucky? If you were rich would you be on board with that? Be honest, I bet you would not want to be targeted. Are the people who support this idea that selfish?
How about cut spending, maybe even revamp the Silver Platter retirement plan these crooks have as a start let them feel the fruits of their non-labor..

It's the fault of the Government(Dem and Rep) that we have a bad economy not mine. They should fix it without coming at me for more money. Look at the bailouts recently, who will pay for that.

I say make EVERYONE pay they fair share and things will start to turn around. That includes poor people!
