fished cedar wednesday from 7:00 till 12:30.Very foggy but caught 5 fish.No big-un's.2 were 15 inches rest around 12.Caught the 15 inchers first thing shallow on buzzbait around grass.Tried crankin in 10-12 ft water in the grass and got the other 3.Water temp 74 in morning and 76 when I left.Hope this helps. Thanks for the report. Has the KDFW moved the courtesy docks yet? I got an email from the biologist saying that the docks were going to be moved so that they would be usable. Has anyone caught any crappie?

Has anyone caught any crappie?

Partner and I caught around 25-30 last weekend ... casting tube jigs over submerged trees. Still only catching 6-8" fish, though. Wasn't there to catch a mess of eaters ... just been awhile since I've been on the water, and needed some pullage ... LOL!!! More of a Mental Health Day trip, than anything

Thanks for the info. I was going to head over tomorrow, but think I will just wait until the weather and the water cools a bit. This summer seems to be dragging on and on. Start of fall starts Monday, but the forecast looks more like summer. Maybe in a couple of weeks the temps will begin to drop. Fishing not that good and it's really to warm to hunt; Sunday will be a good day to fire up the grill and watch some football.

I am not sure what is going on, the water is only down 12" at best,it was down 8" three weeks ago so I don't no what they are doing if they are doing anything. So I fished from 8am till 3:30pm had 15 in the boat, 1 keeper at 201/2" that went 4lb 8oz and 1-3lb3oz and the rest were from 10"to15".

I talked to the guy on the 8th when he was opening the gates and he said it would drop 4-6 inches a day. So I figured it would take 10-12 days to drop 5 feet. Guess not. Oh well. Come on 46 degree water. I guess George didn't go or you smoked him.
