Till June the former CEO of Fannie Mae, Frank Raines was in charge of selecting VP candidates for BO.

Barack Obama has gotten $125,000 in campaign contributions from employees and political action committees of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Second only to Christopher Dodd, Connecticut Democrat and Senate Banking Committee chairman who's raked in $165,000. Hillary has also gotten a nice drink from the well to the tune of $75,000.

McCain co sponsored a bill in Jan. 2005 that would've produced regulations for the 2 Macs. Near as I can tell the bill has been ensnared in the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs since July 2005. Now Fannie and Freddie are on fire and the the government is using our money as water to put them out.

Yep, we need some change alright, but not Obama's brand of change.
