We've got some people we deal with through work that are based in Illinois. They openingly say that there are spots especially in Chicago they won't go to in the daytime never the less at night. According to them it's actually owned and operated by gangbangers. Very, very expensive to live there to, some of these people we know moved to Missouri.

Being from that area, there is much that be said against it. Once it was the center of the bread basket of america.When we had rail roads. Major bus compmys had thier head quarters there, when we had interstate buses.It was surronded by steel mills, when we made steel. Every major urban area of america has its parts of chicago, There are parts of atlants that are reverting back to the jungle. why? migration, to the suburbs, and from the suburbs to further suburbs.I lived there for the first 21 yrs of my life, the only gun I owned was a shot gun for hunting, I live in a safer area now, no crime, and have five of them, one close to my hand at night, fully loaded. Got to drive a distance to a city for inadequate medical care, no public transportation. He wantfree ownewrship of hand guns, I do, and this is the aftermath in a lot of cases.Buts its still a pleasure ton go there for a visit.Lets move all these miscreants to appalacia, copuldn't hurt anything.
