Cave Run This Weekend

Taking a buddy fishing on the cave this weekend going after bass/musky and advice would be helpful...thanks.

My advice is that if you enjoy fishing for both then I'd definately go after the toothy critters. I fished a bass tourney last Saturday and lost about every bait I threw that day. Had an absolute giant eat a ten inch worm right at the boat and scared me to death. I didn't even get a hook set before she bit my line into. The musky were noticably more active then the bass the other day as I saw numerous boats having success. Just my opinion. Bass fishing is tough for me as I haven't been able to find any good fish shallow yet. All my better fish are still coming off the outside grass edges near deeper water.
