Or we could always go the conservative/republican route - privatize it until it fails, then force a government bail-out.
So we as private citizens are failures? Come to think of it, that's what y'all want, a big ole government bail out. No thanks, I'll stay privatized.
I did not intend that the failure of these large organizations were due to any party's failings. When too much reliance is put into the private sector, we have little to no control of mismanagements as well as the ability to take preventative actions, especially when these financial instutions become so powerful that their failure effects our national economic situation.
I don't think the debate was a landslide in Obama'a favor, It was rather even - aside from the economic issues that Obama seemed to have a better handle on. Considering the issueus presented, McCain should have been able to take total control on the debate. However, Obama, being able to stay even with him on issues such as National security was a victory for him. I just think everyone expected McCain to run away from this, and even the ultra-conservative was, although unadmittedly, impressed with Obamas understanding of global politics as well as national issues.
So saying McCain stunk it up, as I did in my first post was a little harsh. He just did not do near as well as the republicans, or many of dem's though that he would.
It's sad and I guess I'm getting old because I don't remember any stand from Barry in the debate? He did alot of talking but nothing new just the same old stuff for 18 months now. I feel like Simon from American Idol....that was a good performance but easily forgettable.
So sure he has the talk down but I think his talk is just covering the Dem talking points. Well I guess it has to be because he has no experience in this arena...my bad.![]()
