My son & I went to Lay this past Friday found 48 degree air temps & 75 degree water. I had 5 short strikes early with a chartreuse buzzbait and my son caught one 2 1/2 on a chartreuse spinnerbait about 9 am. We fished til 11 am, the wind picked up & that was it.

Seemed to me the cold front hurt us, however, we were told by the folks at Paradise Point that they had not been biting all week. Said the water temp had dropped 5 degrees in the past week. Somebody give me some wisdom!
