    Re: Barry Fan Observation

I hate to admit it but this morning as I came in to the office to try and complete a day at work, I saw an old monte carlo jacked way up in the air with those buttugly 22" wheels at the section 8 apartments next door. That in itself was not unusual considereing all the bruthas in the building have them but this had two Obama in 08 stickers in the window. kinda twisted the old gonads but thats why this is the USA.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. You had me on the ropes with your post, so I had to pull the Ali "rope-a-dope."

I do think there is something to be said about the large attendance in Obama appearances. I think people are now getting involved with this election that usually don't have any interest in politics. He is demonstrating the ability to draw in voters to support his cause. Voter regitration for this election is up dramatically from 2004. Very similar to the Clinton rock the vote movement that had a tremendous increase in voter turn-out. I think Obama really relates to the younger generation, and we all know that the 18-25 demographic has the ability to control the outcome of every election - that is if they participate. I really think that this year will be the highest voter turn-out in history, and I think that is going to be in favor for Obama.

Yes, it will be one of the highest turnouts, let's hope they weren't recruited by that ACORN outfit BO has legally represented.

ACORN is being investigated for things like registering the same person 35 times, and several other er 'irregularities'. The BO campaign has given this outfit a ton of money.

Coincidentally, most of the voter irregularities are showing up in swing states.

    Hmmm.

Looks like he's demonstrating his ability to 'draw in' voters alright. Anybody smell a Clinton-like odor around his highness?

Lets just hope it doesn't smell as fishy as Florida in 2000 - we all see what that mess got us in.

Read Stratosjoe's post and there you go, i.e. why it is what you say. He relates to the younger generation alright, lol.

    Mark,
I can't lie about my feelings on that point. He has drawn some real losers(IMO), famous and common folk into his campaign and that bothers me. At least we know who Swindle and Mike I. will be voting for.

LOL Don. I may move to South America or Mexico if he gets elected. I'll throw me a camp near El Salto and bass fish all day. Hey Jimbo knows the ropes down there to I'll get him to go with me. I'll buy me a Mama Cita' and kick back and catch big green fish. Have some Corona's and burrito's and call it good.

Dont forget to pick me up on the way down!

The more and more I think about it, the more I wish I could buy several hudred acres of isolated jungle along a river in the Amazon region.

I could build a lodge/camp, take people fishing for peacock bass, date beautiful women, fish for peacock bass, party in the Rio...did I say fish for peacock bass?
