Anyone been to Lake Jericho latey???

Planning on taking my wife and 4 yr old daughter to Jericho on Saturday for a camp out and some fishing. Anyone been out there lately?? Just looking for bluegill for the girls and hopefully I'll get tot sneak out before they wake up and do some bass fishing? I haven't been to Jericho in over 20 years so just wondering what it's like now... Thanks in advance....

The lake has seen it's better days and needs some bass restocked. The gills are small and so are the crappie but you will catch some though. The channel cats they stocked in there are starting to get to the keeper stage and are fairly plentiful. Have fun, it's still well maintained by nice folks, enjoy your outing with your family.

If you can and the grass is still thick around the banks...Throw some sort of frog imitation bait or somethin to resemble a shad.....

I fished there a couple weeks a go, caught several crappie trolling minnows on tight line. Hook line and sinker with minnow, let the wind blow the boat down the lake. Or fish with minnows with slip bobber from bank. Try the point across from the campground or the dam area is always good. Good luck and give us a report.
