fished today midlake from 9a-3p. had the pleasure of fishing with an old friend of mine. boated 15. one keeper largemouth and 4 keeper spots. several little spots and 1 little smallmouth. most fish on topwater with the dark morning. fish also came on shaky head and swimbait. no big fish today but numbers are picking up quickly. it is unreal how many 10-13 in smallmouth and kentucky bass are on the prowl right now. good fishing. hope to be out again tomorrow and will post results. now would be a good time to take some of the younger anglers out for some topwater action given the cooler air temps. all in all a very relaxing day on big C.
