first time on dale hollow

hi fellas! coming to dale hollow for a week of fishing second week in october. never been on the lake, never even seen it. any and all help/suggestions/tips greatly appreciated. more i read, the more confused i am about how to fish it. thanks for your responses

Welcome to the site and after 50 views and no responses I had to post something for you. I don't fish Dale alot but you should be going at a good time. Get a map and be careful the lake has some trip enders lurking when the lake is low so take it easy. Early in the day and late especially if you have cloudy skies throw topwater baits. If wind starts fish the wind blown banks with spinnerbaits and cranks. Never forget about jigs at the Holler no matter what the season. Go to smalljaw.com and talk with those fellas.
