me and a friend are gonna try to go out tmro morning to go after some skies....what lures should we be throwing at em..thanks

Go and throw a 1/2 oz white spinnerbait. I fished the lake about a week ago for bass and I had 3 follow it up to the boat. I am sure I could have caught them with a figure 8but I dont like loosing my spinnerbaits. I was up the river about half way between the Lodge and Trace. I hope this helps.
P.S. 2 of the 3 were very large fish. Probably 45 plus inches.

Ive fished for musky at Buckhorn since i was a kid....Stick with the spinnerbait or a jointed bomber Long-A....

fished a MI Outing there 2 weeks ago, which are always a blast. 11 fisherman and 7 fish caught. several over 40. Only one was caught on a spinner bait. Cranks and large twitch baits were working. We got 3, largest was a 45.5 on a crank in the main lake. Spinners do work well, the fish are starting to move a little shallower in the past week or so.
