Going to Beaver this morning

I have been working 12-16 hour days for the past 2 weeks and figured a day of Hookey would be nice. I'm taking a good freind of mine that hasn't been on the water in a year. With the fish feeding up for winter I figured a good day of catching would be good for him and me both to get away from everything.
Anyone else getting their boat wet today and where? Good luck and be safe.

well, i didnt fair so well, but my hands are usually occupied bating hooks and such, so i dont have much info for you except the water was 69 degrees and pretty low.....my girlfriend did catch a pretty good sized bluegill on a minnow though

Cold snap didn't help much. I caught about 10-15 small bass. Biggest being 14-3/4 inches.. Managed to catch fish on black buzzbait with medium size blade and clacker, also caught them on a terminator spinnerbait,1/4oz in white with gold highlights. Caught 2 on a smoke purple tube shallow under docks.
Fish were hitting the buzzbait with bluebird sky, fishing shallow parrallel with the bank. There are a ton of small baitfish (fry) maybe? holding on any cover at the banks edge. I know I should have fished deeper to get that bigger bite but it was all just for fun and catching is fun anyday.
