Was thinking about going over to McAlpine tonight.
They have only one generator running today and yesterday.
Do you think it is worth going with only one generator on?
they are running 2.5 at the lower site.

I use 10z jig and a white fluke, rattle traps in chrome, big swim baits,,,,and have been catching a bunch on top water too,,,,try useing a 1 oz egg sinker-barrel sweval and about 18in line with a stick bait....you just got to keep trying till you find what they want then look out.
thanks
STAY OUT OF MY FISHING HOLE!
That would be the area running from Brandenburg Ramp to right below the Interpretive Center.....right?
Selfish.........
Thats right bob,,,the river is all mine,,,mine mine mine! LOL,,, peter, i figured I`d get lest a smile out of you,,,,LOL,,,come on bob,,,i`ll let you in my fishin hole,,,,
Right with the exception of the area from the face of the hydro plant extending perpendicular to each end down stream 50 yards to the first wing dam/dike on the Kentucky side. I filed a claim to that long ago with her Majesty the Queen before Lewis and Clark had ever dreamed of cruising the river.

Wow man. You really are as old as Onemorecast told me you were. Doug, I'm sorry I didn't believe you
Peter get there early and carve you out a spot, RUDENESS is at an all time high down there right now for cut off guys. Sometimes the fish will be in a small area and when the spothawgs see ya catch one or two they decend like buzzards on a dead carcass. Be afraid of the pontoon, be very afraid, lol. All that being said everything Doug said is true ans we've caught a ton of fish down there this year. I even have a secret weapon... no really I do just ask riverat12 so I can't show you that one. They can be on the surface, really fun if that happens, or mid level or near the bottom. Just experiment and you'll find a few or maybe the motherload. Be patient as it can be dead forours and all the sudden it's on for an hour. We'll look for ya down there tonight, Chuck aka riverrat12 and myself will be in a 14 foot V-bottom probably huntin the next world record whiskered fish. Chuck is the big guy in the back with more hair than barber shop on late Saturday afternoon and I'm a real ugly fat guy in the front with a blue hat on. See ya there, hey Doug you coming down???
What time you guys think you will get there. Fishin night?
If I make it I'll be easy to spot. White boat aluminum--not many of them.
17'sea nymph white hull with blue stripe at top. White Johnson Sea Horse Motor, bintage 84'. I'll check myback side for the "pontoon"
Peter
The Chuster and I get there midday on Friday's and make a day out of it, we have a good time. See ya down there Peter.
