Things were a little slow for us today at the ville. We had 5 total, 4 keepers, no big ones, the biggest about 3#. Actually caught a couple of the keepers including the 3 on a shakey head. The rest on a a jig. Alot of boats there today, talked to a few guys who didn't do anything and one who caught 10 crappie, didn't ask about the size of them. alot of crappie fishermen today, and several deer hunters in boats. Fished over by the dam, first time I ever been that way. Not much of a report but not much for me to report either. By the way, to the guy that was wearing the hunters orange hat in a ranger if you read this, come by me that close again that fast (and the old man not with me to calm me down,) as the old people would say, I'm gonna read to you from the book and it won't be pretty...like the book says- you will reap what you sow and it will be all 6 -4 280 lbs of mad chopper.
Did you get a chance to see what the water temperature was?
This has got to be one of the longest, dryest and warmest summer and fall seasons I can remember having. Last year was dry but I don't remember it staying this warm for this long of a time.
