Beaver lake question

My dad wants to go to Beaver wed and do some gill fishing. What does the ramp look like as far as putting a boat in and does anyone know what the bluegill and redear are doing.

The ramp is fine for use. I talked to a few out on the lake and they were getting some pretty gd. redear and gills,the crappie fishers are getting a few nice fish. The bass are doing good with most in the 10 to 14 inch range with a keeper here and there.

The ramp at Beaver is in pretty good shape, john boats and bass boats seem to have no problem. I can't say about the "gills', but the bass I caught this morning, although on the small side, were biting steady.
