What is a F-n-F jig?
Fat-N-Funky Jig?
It is sort of like a football head jig but only larger. The true FNF jig starts at 4 oz up to 12 oz and is designed to be fished on a Drop Shot rig with 4lb test line and light action rods . Only comes in Pink and Orange colors and is deadly on panfish in the winter time. Hope this helps Mr. Shadrap (thanks for the help on the tires by the way)
FNF jigs for me is very simple. I fish Duck Feather 95% of the time. Duck with Chart and Blue on overcast cloudy days, Duck with Red on other days. If duck does not work then I will use Craft hair Blue and Gray on normal days and Craft Hair white and pink on over cast days. Any color to the water and Chartr is in all that I tie on. Depth and Presentation is SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN COLOR.
I prefer the 12oz fnf jig for panfish. Rare back, toss it in, and it knocks em in the head. They just float up! This fishing stuff is too easy.
Tequila Sunrise....or anything that looks like a bluegill. What's an FNF jig...2 funny.
O yes them 12 oz. fnf jigs on 4 lb. line its wild wild i made a cast from ky lake and hit Barkley with it---GIT R DONE![]()
Instead of making those 80 mile runs from Ky Dam Village to Paris Tn, those Pros should start throwing Elnuts 12oz fnf jig! Can you imagime the decline in the demand of gasoline? I bet it would fall below $2 a gallon!!
You all keep giggl'n that bobber....seeing that bobber drop is special. There's also something to be said for jack'n them....you know what I mean....showing them the business end....introducing Mr. Pointy.
Try picking a fight with an already pissed fish at 50' deep in December. That's where I catch most of my fish at Dale.
