    Re: Obese Ohio Inmate executed

My brother witnessed a murder and had to testify. After the men were found guilty, the prosecutor told my brother that the convicts would be out of prison in 7 yrs with good behaviour. I don't get it, you stab someone to death with a screwdriver and dump his body in another state, take his property and you can get out in 7 yrs. So that's what a good lawyer can do for society.

Murders, rapists, child molesters, theives all are eligable for food stamps but a drug felon is not. How about this kind of injustice?

    Re: Obese Ohio Inmate executed

This is just too unreal. An inmate should relinquish all rights once proven guilty for the crime committed. Death row inmates, in a justified fairness, should be given one chance within a three month period to present a fact based appeal. No facts, no appeal, then carry out the sentence, post haste. Only give as much thought to their cruel and unjust punishment, as they gave to the victims of the crime they committed. Fair is fair. If the Ohio inmate thought that lethal injection was cruel for his size, then Ohio should have sent him to Eddyville and let them throw the switch on him. Weight would be no problem there. Up the volts. You would think that if a person was on trial, looking at the death penalty, there would be no stone unturned for any facts that could show he/she were innocent. Why give all that time for Lawyers to **** money out of a criminals family and the tax payers pockets?
