Question for the Obama Voters

You guys know doggone well that the Dems with their pity party for the weak and deprived had pushed for subprime lending to people who cannot pay the money back that fact has been established. Barney Frank is a nimrod for his denial on this. It also lends oneself to believe it was for the votes of these folks that the Dems always cater too. Goes back to Carter and Clinton and yes now both parties are enjoying the benefits of not having to take responsibility. Ol' Mel Brooks said it best...."it's good to be the king" because you can change the rules as you go and thats exactly what these numbnuts have done.

Well if the ecomony keeps like it is going we all might be like "those people". Yes I will be the first one to agree that our Social programs are abused, missran, and some are downright stupid. I see people every day that have never hit a lick at anything but having babies, and that makes me sick. I do not agree with all the liberal stuff, nor all the conservitive stuff. I was raised REPUBLICAN, so I have some of those belives instilled in me from childhood, but I changed when the REPUBLICANS changed, this is not the party of my father and grandfathers, greed took it over like both parties. Some Gov programs are good, look if some of you get laid off you will sign up for unemployment, a GOV program, when you retire you will receive social security, a GOV program. You got student loans, gov program, fare housing thru VA or FHA, Gov programs. If you are young and have a child but youe employer offers no ins, you can get that child ins thru the GOV at little or no cost. If you lose your job and all your resources the Gov will get you food. That program is the most abused though, but when it is needed and deserved it is good, it jsut needs to be a temp program. Gov now is going into the banking and mortage business buying up bad debts. Gov Program pushed by and signed by Pres Bush, yes lending money to people who cannot pay them back was dumb on the Dems part had to be some repubs push for it also as Majority rules and this happened when the republicans were in control of the house and senate, correct me if I am wrong on that one. What is wrong with helping others in time of need? Is that not what Christians preach? After all the republican party has been the true christian party or so they say. I am one democrat that belives that you help people when they are down, but you also need to help them help theirselves. I am a firm beliver in time limits for food benifits and welfare, Clinton mandated a limit on welfare so now no one can draw over 1 yr. Food stamps need imroved on. Yes I am a democrat, a Moderate one, I belive in owning guns and I will fight my party about that and have called my DEMOCRAT Reps and voiced that. We need to quite the dem repub bias stuff and become AMERICANS again. It is up to the people to make a change and a difference. The trickle down theroy was a good idea butwhen the seive is plugged up by excess greed it does not trickle down it just stay in the seive.

I sure don't have the answers just opinions from a guy that works everyday and pays his bills on time. I am a Christian which makes me not perfect and thats the reason I became a Christian because I felt there had to be more to life than what we see. I was raised with a Baptist dad and Budhist Mom so now you know why I'm kinda off center sometimes!LOL. I get the feeling that the gubment wants more of my hard earned money and that ticks me off. My hats off to you because if I had to see what you see in the abuses of our system I would blow a gasket for sure! It's hard enough just hearing about it but seeing it first hand? That takes a special person. Have a good one my friend.

Thanks Don, Yet it is hard doing this as some of the things are against my moral and social belives. That is why I love to fish, it takes me away from all of this, just me and nature. It is funny how a little fish, any fish can take your mind off the bigger problems in life. I am more in tune spirtually when out on the water or in the woods than anywhere I have found, even church. It makes me relize what we have and how we take it for granted. I was raised in rural America, and have also lived in the big citys, but I have never strayed far from my roots, wading creeks and just wandering around the woods,helped shape me into the person I am today, as nature has a way of humbling you.
